- We advise you to exercise a high degree of caution in Brazil because of the high levels of serious crime.
- Pay close attention to your personal security and monitor the media for information about possible new safety or security risks.
- You should avoid all demonstrations and protests given their potential to turn violent.
- Pay close attention to health warnings in the region. The Brazilian Ministry of Health has reported serious outbreaks of dengue fever and yellow fever. For details, see the Health section below.
