- We advise you to be alert to your own security in Palau.
- Exercise common sense and look out for suspicious behaviour, as you would in Australia.
- There is currently an outbreak of the mosquito-borne illness dengue fever in Palau. For details see the Health Issues section below.
- Australia does not have an Embassy or Consulate in Palau. The Australian Embassy in Micronesia provides consular assistance to Australians in Palau.
