When travelling to Spain, you should always get travel insurance in case the worst happens. To help you ensure you travel safely, we have included the travel advice from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade for Spain.

Summary
- The World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed cases of H1N1 Influenza 09 in a number of countries throughout the world, including Spain. For a list of these countries, visit the WHO website. For further information and advice to Australians, including on possible quarantine measures overseas, see our travel bulletin on H1N1 Influenza 09.
- We advise you to exercise caution and monitor developments that might affect your safety in Spain because of the risk of terrorism and street crime.
- Pay close attention to your personal security and monitor the media for information about possible new safety or security risks.
