If you are already overseas and have forgotten to purchase travel insurance, don't worry, it is not too late.

1Cover can now cover residents of Australia who are overseas and intend to travel back to Australia at the end of their trip. There are a couple of things that you need to know before purchasing this policy:

• There is a waiting period of 7 days that applies from the start date on the Certificate of Insurance to all claims arising from, related to or associated with any injury or sickness.
• You cannot apply for or purchase cover for a pre-existing medical condition.

The cover available for those who are already overseas is in:

• Standard PDS under Plan H and is available to travellers aged 16 to 69 years; or
• Our Seniors Travel PDS under Plan F and is available to travellers aged 70 to 74 years.

Both plans include cover for any dependants under 21 years travelling with you.
