If you are already overseas and have forgotten to purchase travel insurance, don't worry, it is not too late.
1Cover can now cover residents of Australia who are overseas and intend to travel back to Australia at the end of their trip.
There are a couple of things that you need to know before purchasing this policy:
- There is a waiting period of 7 days that applies from the Start Date on the Certificate of
Insurance to all claims arising from, related to or associated with any injury or sickness.
- You cannot apply for or purchase cover for a Pre-existing Medical condition.
The cover available for those who are already overseas is in our Product Disclosure Statement under Plan H
and cover is available to any person up to the age of 74 years old.
