Great Response Time

The response to my claim was timely & accurate. Definitely met my expectations. About to use them for the 3rd time. They covered my brain aneurysm & some wouldn’t.

Fantastic customer service!

Kerrie Case Manager with 1 cover was a breath of fresh air. I was travelling over in Thailand and unfortunately did what any young guy does and have an accident on a moped. I honestly called 1 cover to just tell them what happened. Kerrie then calls me back and gives me a list of options that I can do. Then again followed me up and said she has sourced me an earlier flight home. Made sure that there was help all the way through the airport. Couldn’t thank her enough and 1 cover of course

Absolutely pleased with the way and speed my claim was handled

My claim was handled by Bethan and team and 1Cover insurance and they were attentive to my emails, very thorough and described the process very simply. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent handling of claims, great customer service

The customer experience we had was by very good. When my mother got sick overseas and was confimed in ICU, I contacted 1Cover and seek advice on how to proceed. They opened a case for me and helped me through with all my questions and provided advise and guidance on what documentation we will require from the hospital to ensure that we have all the relevant documentations when we lodged our claims. The claims process was very straight forward. Even though the communication is all via email, i.e. there is no direct number to call, our concerns raised via email are addressed in a timely manner. The customer service teams also called me if they needed urgent information. They are very thorough in reviewing all the documentation to ensure everything are in order. The staff were all friendly, helpful and compassionate. Their medical team who liaised with me while my mother was overseas was also very thoughtful and helpful. They ensured that my mother is well enough to travel back home. They have given me advise to extend the cover as my mother cannot travel on her original departure date and the cost of the extension was refunded when the claims were approved. We are really grateful and thankful that we were given the support morally and financially during this difficult circumstances.

Received a claim relatively quickly with excellent customer service

My claim was a little difficult, as I was claiming for a hiking tour in Patagonia that had to be completely modified due to a wrist I broke a couple of weeks before travelling. I was claiming the difference between the original tour itinerary, and the modified one. Yes, 1Cover did have to ask for further clarification after I had put in my original claim, which I had to get from a US based travel company. But that was understandable . In matter of a couple of weeks from my original application my claim was approved. Throughout the process the communication with 1Cover, all by email, was efficient. I had never made a travel insurance claim before (and I’ve been travelling, and buying insurance, for 45+ years!), and I had heard so many bad stories about claims being rejected. Thank you 1Cover for my now very positive attitude, and I will certainly be buying 1Cover insurance for my next trip. A very happy customer!

Very impressed

I was sceptical that my claim would be dealt with efficiently and expected that numerous tenuous obstacles would be raised BUT that was not the case. The claim has been handled smoothly and all concluded in a timely manner. I'm very impressed.

First time cover

First overseas travel in a few years and had to claim flights to a different city as ours were cancelled. From the first phone call to the email updates everything went smoothly. Definitely get cover no matter what and 1Cover were fabulous to deal with.

Best service

I just wanted to say thanks to 1Cover for making a very stressful situation much easier. It's scary to need medical treatment and surgery overseas, but they were there at any time when we needed, day or night. After breaking my leg badly in Japan my husband got in touch and you confirmed we were covered straight away and everything from there onwards was fantastic service - the emergency evacuation, the hospital staff, the emergency assistance team all provided the best service. We were very pleased we chose 1Cover and will be recommending you to all my friends and family.
