Dependants are your children or grandchildren not in full time employment, who are under the age of 19. In order to be classed as a dependant, the child must be travelling with their parent or grandparent at all times.
If you have a child under 16 years of age who requires a single adult policy you will need to contact our customer service centre to discuss your options.
Once you're out on open water, this is classed as overseas and as such you will not be covered by the public health system. You will need to select our Cruise Pack add-on, selecting the Australia Cruise region. This add-on is available with Comprehensive policies. This ensures you are covered for full medical coverage whilst on board, as well as cancellations, missed departures, lost luggage, and more.
Yes, you can apply to extend your policy by either getting in contact with our friendly call centre team or alternatively you can log in to our Policy Manager.
We advise that you log in to the Policy Manager or contact us as soon as you know you need to extend your policy (ideally 7 days (AEST) before your policy is due to expire), so that we can make sure your extension is guaranteed. Once a policy lapses we are unable to extend it.
