Why Don't Photographs Work as Proof Of Ownership?

The reason we don't accept photographs as proof of ownership is because a photograph may not be enough evidence to prove that the item you're claiming for actually belongs to you.

Additionally, receipts and bank statements allow us to work out the depreciation due to wear and tear.
