Do You Cover Asthma?

Asthma is automatically covered under your 1Cover travel insurance policy under the following conditions:

  1. the condition has been stable for more than 12 months; and
  2. there is no planned surgery, treatment or specialist review; and
  3. you have not attended hospital for treatment for the condition in the past 12 months.
  4. have no other lung disease; and
  5. are less than 60 years of age at the date of issue of the certificate of insurance

If you have asthma and don't meet the criteria for automatic cover, you need to declare your condition. You can do this when you're purchasing your policy.
