Is my pet covered?

Unfortunately, we only insure humans who are travelling.

However, we do offer benefits for domestic pets that are left at home. We will reimburse you up to:

  1. $25 for each 24 hour period for additional kennel, boarding or cattery fees for domestic dogs and cats owned by you if you are delayed overseas beyond your original return date due to an event covered under this policy.
  2. $400 if your pet suffers an injury during your overseas journey and requires veterinary treatment, provided that at the time of the injury, you pet was in the care of a relative or boarding kennel.$400 if your pet suffers an injury during your overseas journey and requires veterinary treatment, provided that at the time of the injury, you pet was in the care of a relative or boarding kennel.
