We went with 1Cover primarily because a) they would cover me (over75) and b) they would cover pre-existing conditions. Their customer service has been exceptional form our first contact with the emergency team when my wife was hospitalised in Fiji. We received several calls to check on her welfare and to facilitate the claims process. It was a breath of fresh air to be able to talk to people directly (Brett, Mia, Carol, Kim) rather than to endure multi-level automated menus and overseas-based call centres. The claims process was straightforward and assessment and finalisation much quicker than I expected. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend 1Cover!

Had the unfortunate experience of having my wallet stolen when travelling on the Rome metro train system recently when on a holiday. Made a claim with 1Cover for the cash lost. Their claims consultant 'Bethan' was very helpful, clearly detailing what documentation and information was needed to process the claim. After compiling and sending on the information my claim was approved within a week and I am now just awaiting the payment. Excellent service.

We find 1cover easy to purchase online and its price is very competitive. Unlike others they do not charge extra for cancellation cover although we wonder how the situation would differ from those others if we needed to claim on that. Since we have not claimed at all on any of our policies yet we cannot tell what the claims experience is like but the reviews we have read are encouraging.

We’ve now used 1Cover twice. Once for our Greece/Italy trip and once for our Fiji trip. It’s very easy to get a quote and tailor a policy to your requirements. We claimed once due to having to see a doctor in Greece. The end to end process was relatively straightforward and the claim was processed quickly. We highly recommend!
