I'm glad I took out cover for my recent trip as unfortunately I fell sick while on holidays in Bali. 1cover were great to deal with, I contacted them while in hospital in Bali and they sorted everything out for me. Just remember you have to pay the bill yourself and then claim it back when you get home so make sure you have access to extra cash to pay for it yourself first or it could get complicated. Have used 1Cover over the last few years, and although I've never had to make a claim, the ease of getting insurance as well as the 5% discount for return business, besides the generally cheapest rates around for a well-rounded package makes it fit well for me. In one way, hope I never have to make a claim, but if so, I feel with Allianz behind them and the treatment thus far, it probably wouldn't be a problem.

I had to make a claim while travelling through Guatemala , I ended up in a hospital where nobody spoke any english and the doctors would not admit me without having an assurance from my travel insurance company that I was covered. I rang 1cover on their 24 hour claims line and explained my situation they responded quickly to the doctors via email and had a spanish interpreter go over the course of treatment the doctors had recommended for me to make sure I was getting the right treatment. I cannot recommend them high enough I don't know what I would have done without them. I would never travel with any other company after the service I received.

I have used 1 Cover now for my past three trips. On each occasion I have found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. After doing some checking of other travel insurance rates I have also found their rates to be very competitive. Lucky no claims have had to be made, but peace of mind knowing you are covered is what it is about.

So easy to deal with, also the most comprehensive for the cheapest price. While overseas decided to extend stay and they made it soooooo easy to just add on (for $4!!!) using the online chat feature. Thank you so much, haven't had a claim as yet but very impressed while using them the last 5 times overseas

to date I had good service and experience with one cover insurance. However for my preexisting condition (I have an angioplasty which is controlled and was inserted as a precautionary measure only), the surcharge is in my opinion much to high, considering that I have never had an episode of any kind! But then that is Insurance philosophy I guess!

I paid for a year of comprehensive insurance. In June my passport was stolen in Vietnam. I was required to return to Australia in order to get a new passport. Not only did they refuse to pay for my flights back to Australia (a necessary expense in order to even get a new passport), they also cancelled my insurance when I returned home - despite the fact I had paid for a full year, and despite the fact I had no choice but to return home, and despite the fact I always had every intention on continuing my travels when my new passport was issued. The customer service is bad too. They don't call when they say they will, they won't email back, and they gave me a disconnected number t

This is the second time I have used 1Cover and did not need to make a claim which is great but having Travel Insurance gave me the peace of mind to enjoy my trip without having to worry.... the first time I used 1Cover I did need to make a claim and I found them very efficient, easy to deal with and the my claim was reimbursed very quickly which is why I went with them again and will use them for my next trip as well. People need to realise a claim is only paid on expenses incurred while overseas. I made the mistake to wait till I got back to Australia for further treatment with doctors, xrays, physio etc and that meant I was out of pocket for all of these expenses!

Arrived home safely with no need to claim on our insurance policy this time we are so glad. Last holiday it was a different story though having to get the doctor in because of the Dengue Fever we were more than happy with the service when we phone to make a claim for out of pocked expenses which were all sorted out very promptly. Thank you
