Great value.

I didn’t have to claim this time but as usual, great value, great service. After such a good experience with our medical claim last time I felt safe using 1Cover again.

Glad I was insured

The whole process of getting a quote, to purchasing my travel insurance, to making a claim was very easy. Due to a medical condition I couldn't take my trip overseas. Once I had all the documentation it was simple to upload and start a claim. The customer service was great, spoke with several people at different times but this didnt hinder the process.

Fantastic service and claims experience

Due to inclement weather I had a terrible experience getting back home and having to rebook a flight. 1Cover was very quick to respond to my claim application and were totally understanding of my situation. I couldn’t be happier with their service! Definitely recommend and will use them again.

Very happy with the service

I had an emergency with an infected tooth while I was overseas. I contacted 1Cover and they immediately assesed my enquire. The process of the refund was fast and they kept in contact with me in the whole process. I definitely will use them again in the future.

Injury in the USA requiring emergency surgery

From the moment we contacted 1cover there were very responsive. They dealt with the hospital direct regarding all medical costs. They displayed genuine care and empathy with my situation. On return home they settled other aspects of our claim (cancellations, lost deposits, etc) promptly and to our satisfaction. I have taken 1cover travel insurance on my travels over the years but this is the first time I have had a significant incident/claim (medical) and they were excellent.

Loyal customer unable to claim for Amoma Bankruptancy.

Really disappointed having showed up at our Hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam to find out the company we booked and prepaid had gone bankrupt taking our money with them. Contacted 1Cover expecting to be able to make a claim on our fully comprehensive travel insurance, only to find out they don't cover insolvency for accommodation or tour companies. Really disappointed and a struggle to access funds to pay a second time for accommodation. Wondering what is the point of having travel insurance.

Excellent Insurer

I have always used 1Cover for my travels and thankfully have never needed to claim, until my last trip in September 2019. I logged on to their website last week, completed the forms, and downloaded the documents, a very easy process. I have just received confirmation my claim has been approved and payment will be in my account next week - I am one very happy customer.

Competitive cost

The insurance was cost competitive but the review process was very frustrating as you needed to write more than 20 words but the item below indicated it had to be below 20 words or it wouldn’t save ...

Great peace of mind

I have used 1Cover Travel Insurance on quite a few occasions and always find it easy to get a quote and to apply for my cover.
Luckily I have not had the need to claim, but I feel confident that I would have great customer service if the need arose.
I like the fact that, when my holiday is nearly over, I receive an email notification to remind me to update my cover, should I extend my holiday dates.

Claim experience

I had to cancel my trip under very upsetting circumstances and 1Cover were extremely understanding and helpful and my claim was handled quickly and easily. I will definitely use 1Cover again and would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Trip to Bali

I find that 1Cover is very easy to deal with, arrange travel insurance and reliable if you have a claim. I have a pre-existing medical condition that means I need to pay a little more, which is very reasonable.

Quick and efficient

Due too an illness of one of our travellers, flights needed to be canclelled and a claim was submitted. This was done fully online on a Friday and was approved 2 days via SMS on Sunday, paid out a day after. Excellent service! Can't fault in this instance.

Easy, quick claims process, Wow

After visiting NYC I was left with a medical bill of $1,900 USD. Before I went to the doctor, I called 1Cover and they helped me find a doctor close by to me. The claims process was 100% online and easy. The claims team emailed me quickly to let me know I forgot to upload one of the receipts, which meant my claim didn't get held up in red tape. The claim took me about 20 minutes to lodge online and it was approved by the team in a week. Very impressed! I never expected it to be so easy.

So easy, organised and kind

Being in hospital in a foreign country was stressful enough, let alone thinking about when to contact the insurance company. Bet they called me and had already processed the hospital stay. The call centre employee was very helpful and kind.

Ease of use, good cover

I have used 1Cover previously and unfortunately needed to make a claim, which was serviced efficiently & quickly. This time, for travels in Europe I used them again and thankfully had no need to make a claim.
The online purchase process is easy and straight forward and customer service is always available to answer any queries. I will use this company again.
