A full week of delayed baggage, and 1Cover expects me to spend half my holiday finding receipts for items lost.
Can anyone tell me?
"Do YOU personally keep a receipt for clothes and underwear you bought 1 year or 2 years ago that you didn't expect to lose during travel?"
+ The signup and purchase as so smooth,
+ BUT When it matters most during claiming and when it goes pearshaped, 1Cover doesn't come through.
I've been using 1Cover in all my past travels and have never claimed, only just this one
It is safe to say,
I will stop recommending 1Cover
and will stop using 1Cover, such a shame.

I have used 1Cover for all my trips in last 12 years and never experienced any problem with communication, claims, pricing and timely response etc.

The big trip to France. Itinary Day 4, tripped on uneven footpath and landed on my hip. I could not get up. Hospital for 4 days and a full hip repacement. All went extremely well with surgery.
One Cover took charge of everything from the hospital costs, mobilty aids, medications and upgrading my return flight to Sydney. Everyone l emailed with was caring and helpful. Big thank you to Daniel, his support made the process very easy , also, thanks to all the support team.

Recently bought three months insurance had to return in a week no known reason to make a claim family reason . Asked for clemency or credit nothing no consideration just money taken more bad add insult to family injury .
I ask respectfully again please consider I will travel again soon could you reconsider giving me some of the 11 weeks of insurance I paid and got nothing for as a credit on my up and coming next trip .

Hubby and I both got chest infections while on holiday in Bali. We received great service from 1 cover phone calls and emails checking if we where ok and if we needed any further assistance we could not fault them. Will definitely use again. Claims procedure easy too

We have been dealing with 1 Cover insurance for many many years now and they are the only ones we trust. We have only had to place one claim and they did not let us down. We were re-imbursed for all the expenses we incurred whilst travelling. The team are professional and quick to help. What more could you want.

After a heart attack in late 2020, we realised that getting affordable insurance for the trips we love to do together was going to be tough!
And, it was. Seems noone in the insurance industry in Australia wants to know you for under $2,000
1COVER said yes. Added a premium on top of its 'standard' insurance for my condition and accepted us.
We didn't need to claim for anything but we knew that we had comprehensive cover which included my heart condition... and it was at a great price!

I had a seizure on the plane going with the family to PNG - I had no choice but to turn around. 1Cover have been fantastic and very helpful and fair, explaining every question I had. I also liked that they always come back within 10 days and if all documentation is submitted, the payout happens very quickly. We have used 1Cover over the past 20 years, thankfully needed it for anything serious and would highly recommend them. Like with all insurance, ensure you read the fine print.

I have been using 1Cover travel insurance for many years now, both for domestic and international holidays. Knowing I have support for any problems faced on holiday, makes it so much more relaxing.
Even with domestic travel, it actually saves me money as I don't need to pay the expensive hire car fees to reduce my excess. 1Cover covers it for less, with the added bonus of hotel, accommodation and medical mishaps covered as well.
The one time I did claim on my 1Cover travel insurance, the process was easy and fast. That experience convinced me to stick with 1Cover for all my holidays.

I have held many travel policies and luckily enough have never had to lodge a claim, until now. We were 4 days away from travel with my son remaining sick for the entire week prior to travel where dr deemed him unfit to travel until completing 4 days of antibiotics which was an absolute headache but appropriate based on my sons health being the priority. After 8 hours on the phone to various airlines as we have multiple flights + amending accomodation across both countries i was certainly stressed & ready to throw the whole thing away! the thought of going through the process to lodge the claim had me feeling even worse and had me highly stressed as I assumed this would be more challenging then arranging flight and accommodation. I dont know if it was my lucky day but I spoke with a claims consultant named Carol. Carol was able to clearly walk me through the next steps and ensured I was clear in understanding what was needed. We had a couple of minor delays (like 2 hours max) but I was engaged every step of the way, communication was clear & transparent. Updates were frequent and Carol had my matter resolved by Friday COB when the claim was opened only the day before! I felt this was the most genuine service I have ever been provided! Exceptional turnaround time, amazing communication at every single turn! Carol, you have made this experience so much better than what it could have been! You are truly outstanding and I would love to hire you! Thanks you 1Cover but most of all… THANK YOU CAROL!

I did not read the small print and was caught out on a medical claim where I needed a doctor's Report and payment receipt. This cost me extra, which is not covered, but I am happy with the claim experience. We still use this cover and would not use any other.
