third time we've used 1cover. would never go anywhere else. policy comparison excellent for benefits. policy cost very competitive. ease of service and customer service excellent. had to unfortunately cancel our trip on one occasion very late because of a serious health issue requiring surgery for our daughter which was extremely stressful. 1cover were amazing. can't thank them enough for excellent claim service and prompt refunds and not adding to the burden of our already stressful situation. would be highly recommended by us and I do verbally always recommend them to travellers I speak to.

Once again home without needing to make a claim, but on the one time we did four years ago, they handled things very well when life was extremely stressful and the final outcome was as bad as it could possibly be. Would not go through any other insurance company when travelling.

Fortunately I have not had to make a claim both times I have purchased insurance from 1cover. I researched Travel Insurance for quite some time before deciding on 1cover. Good value for money and easy online purchase. Will use again if travelling overseas.

Have used 1cover now for numerous domestic and overseas trips. Staff are always helpful and give good information over the phone. Appreciate the car hire excess cover and pet cover (overseas only) . Don't look anywhere else now for travel insurance.

Third or fourth time I've used 1Cover insurance for travel. Have never had to make a claim but enjoy the ease of applying on line, have told all my travelling friends about applying on line & the reasonable rates. One friend took out insurance for her son who unfortunately needed to claim medical expenses after a minor accident whilst abroad she thanked me for the suggestion & her son received excellent treatment & claim processed quickly & hassle free, she & her whole family now only use 1Cover travel insurance as does mine.

I've used 1Cover for about 6 trips so far and I now wouldn't consider using anyone else. The are very cost competitive (even as a BUPA member i couldn't get cheaper). The trip before last I had to make a claim (my first with them) and the service was great and no fuss. Highly recommended.

By far the cheapest and most comprehensive travel insurance around. Have used it multiple times now, and thankfully haven't needed it. The staff are helpful and have recommended to a few friends as well, who have also had a great experience. I won't bother comparing to other companies now as they are too hard to beat.

Thankfully, have never had to claim though have used 1Cover a few times for overseas travel. The quoting, signup and post-purchase experience is excellent. The passport-wallet sized policy is a nice trick and they follow-up at several points with emails and SMS. Will use again for sure.

I get comparison quotes each time we travel, but 1 Cover is always the best value. After 8 travel insurance policies, 1 Cover is a must have whenever you travel.

I took out a policy for a short trip to North Queensland (mainly for car rental excess cover). I unexpectedly had to extend my stay for two days, and I tried to call 1cover to extend my policy. I called at 7pm but could not get through (their office was supposedly open till 8pm), so I sent an email. I didn't get a reply until the following morning, when I was told that I couldn't extend my policy as it had already lapsed, nor could I take out another policy.
I replied outlining my circumstances and told her that I tried to call during office hours before my policy had lapsed, but I did not get a reply.
I therefore had to take out insurance with the car rental company at $30/day and was an inconvenience.
Very disappointed at 1cover's customer service, and as a result will not be using them again nor recommending them.

great value , great service my mother and her friend travelled with us and being over 80 insurance can be expensive. 1 cover gave them a quote and they were very happy and took it out with them as well.

Used 1Cover on several occasions for my overseas trips. Cheapest policies I could find on line. I haven't needed to make a claim yet, so no idea of the Co's follow up service following a claim lodgement. I like their timely and friendly reminder to extend the cover period if req'd. A.B

Yeah there's a charge extra...but most others won't cover or make it too hard...they covered me for having to cut trip short due to ms flare up. Appreciate being treated as a normal person

1 Cover are really great. We have not needed to make any claims thankfully any of the times we have taken out their travel insurance. We always get 1 Cover and you also get a little discount for each time you use their travel insurance. Would not go through anyone else.

Tried to extend my policy the day before it expired. The 1cover system responded with errors after multiple submissions to extend. Credit card has no issues. Emailed them, was provided a different quote that was $62 _more_ than I was quoted online. Long story short, after over 15 emails back and forth over the day trying to pay them (they all went home once their work day was over so I had no response for hours), the clocked ticked over and I was left without cover.
Fully aware of what had happened, 1cover then offered me a 'Residents Already Overseas' policy for $200 more than the original online extension quote, with a 7 day waiting period, and told me now there was nothing they could! Yes, really. I bought a new policy with World Nomads instead.
I can't imagine how I'd be treated if I had to make a claim. Buyer beware.
