Easy Travel Insurance

Your Travel insurance product was both a great price and very easy to set up and understand, instead of the normal mumbo jumbo you have to go through to get insurance now a days. Plus the staff member on the telephone was extremely helpful in every way. Well done keep up the good work.

Value for money

To sign up 1cover is quite easy & simple and provides competitive price..
I might go for 1cover for my next trip.

1cover

In all my travels I have always preferred to use 1cover for travel insurance. During this time I have also been lucky enough not to have a claim but know 1cover is behind me if I do.

Great Insurance & value for money

Used a few times now. Easy to get cover. Easy claim service and great value for money. What else could you need. Will use again.

Proof in the claim

The price was great for the cover I selected but the real proof was in the claim. I had an accident abroad. When I phoned the 24 hour support line that's exactly what I got. Help, support, advice and sympathy. My preference to come home for medical treatment after stabilisation was supported. My flights were upgraded and I was assisted all the way - a 24 hour trip. There was continued communication from friendly staff who seemed like they really cared. Thanks to all I got home safely and as comfortably as possible.

Travel Insurance

Happy to recommend 1Cover...I have just renewed my yearly travel policy with 1Cover, the staff are always helpful and happy to answer any questions. Efficient service with a smile!

Poor communication & disorganised

My claims experience was very poor, no communication from claims officers, I had to follow up on many occasions only to find that my claims had been filed in another claim and consequently not reviewed. Staff were very apologetic however did the same again the next time I needed to submit a claim. They had 10 business days to respond however didn't not request any questions or further documentation until the 10 days were up... Not once but twice, I was rang ah on the 10th business day requesting further info. AH on a Friday was too late for me to respond and when I did I was told I will get an outcome in another 10 days. I'm still waiting on an outcome of a claim which has now been with the claims officer nearly 5 weeks. I understand the request for more information delays outcome but no communication and misfiring of claims documents is just poor customer service.

Caught out by General Exclusions

It was a second blow to not only lose my grandad suddenly the day before my travels to then find out that even though I cancelled my flights etc on the day of his death that i was not covered. I was informed that on the last pages of the 72 page policy document, that my claim would not be covered due to him being over the age of 85.
The policy showed on pages 39 that I would be covered under the reference we will pay and we will not pay however this did not reference the general exclusions. i did fine this to be misleading. my claim was for $300 only.

it was simple and straight forward, stress free and easy to understand and use, purchasing the product and claiming A+

good customer service and easy claim process in a time of need. Would recommend.

Quick and easy

At the start I felt that 1Cover travel insurance was an affordable option, and so didn't hesitate to buy. I never thought I would need to actually make a claim, but whilst in Fiji I pulled my back muscles so badly that I needed to call a doctor to my hotel room. He gave me a shot and prescription for painkillers and muscle relaxant. The claim process was incredibly easy, and the claim was paid within about one week. I was pleasantly surprised.
I won't hesitate to use 1Cover again, and gave recommended to friends.

Terrible Customer Service & Slow Claims Process

The claims process is like a big black hole - no communication from them what so ever, when you ring to follow up they cannot provide any insight

Accident in South Korea -

I had an accident in Sth Korea which put my leg in plaster from ankle to top of thigh. 1 Cover covered all costs with no hesitation. I had cover with Woolworhs once, paid extras to cover jewellery had a gold chain stolen and they didn't want to know us. Will never again not go with 1 cover!!

Flawless and seamless service

I can't remember the person who dealt with me but it was so easy and I would be insuring myself with you again. Let me know of you do deals for frequent travelers!

1 Cover was very patient with me as it took me a long time to get my paperwork together but after I did the claim went through quickly and without any problems
