My husband spent 16 days in all in hospitals in South Africa and as soon as I notified 1Cover I received a number of calls from the emergency assistance to check on how he was going. As he was hospitalised beyond the cover period I was given peace of mind by being assured we would be covered at no extra cost until we returned to Australia. The claims process was efficiently handled and our claims for medical and missed holiday itinerary expenses were reimbursed quickly.

Before we traveled earlier this year we compared lots of travel insurance companies, 1 cover was the cheapest. The application process was easy and straightforward. We claimed medical expenses and they were helpful and the claiming process easy. Highly recommend this company , they were excellent.

Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip a couple of months before departure because of a sport injury.
The process to make the claim was easy and straight forward and the total amount of our trip was back in our account in a few weeks.
This is the second time we have had to make a claim with 1 Cover and we have had a positive experience both times.
We highly recommend 1 Cover and will definitely be staying with them for future trips.

I have always used 1Cover for my travel insurance, up until recently I have never had to make a
claim. I had my trip planned with just under 2 weeks to go and landed in hospital for an extended stay. The claims process was quick and easy and we received a full refund minus the excess, this was in my bank account within a month. I will be using 1Cover again for my future travels and would highly recommend them.

Upfront advertising doesn't match the actual cover. It wasn't till I had purchased the cover that I could access the policy, which didn't cover my situation. Not happy Jan.

Because our daughter has Down Syndrome we needed to pay an extra fee. Our daughter has no health issues. She did not ask to have Down Syndrome, she was just born with this condition. Why should she be penalised for something that is beyond her control

Usually we purchase travel insurance, never expecting to have to use it!

We have used 1 Cover for all our travels over the past 18 months and have been very impressed. Unfortunately we had to cancel a number of trips due to my husband’s sudden decline in health and, for the most part, the claim process was fairly straightforward. The only glitch was the last claim and we were asked for a number of extra, unnecessary documents that were already on file. However contact was maintained throughout the process and our submission was deemed adequate and was settled. I have recommended 1 Cover to a number of friends

I had to cancel a 10-day cruise from Sydney up the coast to Port Douglas last October 2023, due to the death of my daughter. I lodged a claim the day after cancelling, 1Cover sent me all the documentation which I completed and returned. 1Cover approved the claim and said the refund would take approximately 10 to 15 days I checked my bank account 4 days later and the full refund was there, how good is that.

Have just completed my second claim with 1Cover, for a missed cruise port call, ironically on the same ship, but years apart. Again the claim process was hassle free and the claims consultant (Zena) was a pleasure to interact with. I unreservedly recommend 1Cover, and have already insured again with them for a trip to the UK later this year.

We have used 1Cover a number of times for our yearly trips overseas. You never truly know what an insurer is like until the time comes to make a claim. We have just made a claim to recover the fees (£500) charged for a very minor scratch (almost invisible) on the bumper bar on the vehicle we hired. I cannot compliment 1Cover enough on how easy it was to lodge a claim. Just upload all the documents they request and if they require more they just email you. Their reply each time says may take up to 10 days but they have finalised our claim in just over 2 weeks. I have just booked another trip and will absolutely be using 1Cover again. While almost all of our trips haven’t resulted in a claim you learn the true value of a travel insurance policy when you need to claim against it.

I always use 1Cover when I'm travelling both nationally and internationally. It's way cheaper to buy insurance from 1Cover when hiring rental cars too. The second time used 1Cover insurance company for my family's travel overseas, and unfortunately had to claim due family member being sick overseas however chose the right company to look after us, a bit frustrated with first time when my son was sick and went to the hospital and would be better if insurance could cover straight away like no need to provide documents ( contact with insurance hospital department ) like my wife’s case however overall good with 1Cover insurance would recommend to friend and family in future.

I am new to travelling overseas and have used 1Cover when I have travelled. Taking out travel Insurance with 1Cover online is so seamless. Unfortunately on my last holiday I needed medical assistance. The online claim process was easy to follow and I received a nice email from 1Cover soon afterwards offering their sympathy and requesting further documentation. Since supplied, my claim was settled in full less excess .
I would highly recommend 1Cover to anyone travelling and will continue to use 1Cover whenever I travel.

Approved my claim and helped me through a hospitalization and ambulance ordeal ... Then courtesy of Icelandic ambulance rules I got a second invoice 2months later which stressed me out but 1 cover has approved everything thank you !!
