Surgery could not be completed over the weekend whilst in Christchurch, we should have insisted 1Cover organise surgery and make arrangements for us to catch up with our travel partners whilst in NZ. We had to wait until we returned to OZ and organise a referral and pay to travel interstate to have bicep surgery done. Not happy

I highly recommend 1Cover and use it each time I travel overseas. It is extremely easy to buy a policy online. This trip I made a mistake with my travel dates, and a customer service consultant was able to fix it immediately over the phone with me and re-issue the policy. It literally could not have been easier!

Travel cover was easy to deal with. Unfortunately, because we are in our mid 70's we have been informed that 1Cover will no longer grant us travel insurance. This is ageism and it is apparent the older one gets (whether you have had trouble before or not) you will not cover us so therefore we will not be bothering you again.

I would only go with this again if they made it much easier to see what insurance i paid for on my receipt just like other insurance companies ive gone with previously. it was quite time consuming to work out what i was actually covered for once i had paid for the insurance.

This has been my goto Travel Insurance for a number of overseas trips but we have never had an any need to make any claims. On the last trip, one of us had to go to a hospital for treatment - making a claim and getting a refund was simple and straightforward. Would recommend 1Cover to anyone.

The way you treat people when a family member namely my father passes away 2 days before you can go away on your holiday and because he is over a certain age you won’t pay it is appalling and to say the least quite upsetting. So yes thanks for the experience and I will make sure I pass that on to all the people that I know so they don’t use 1cover.

I was a bit surprised with the amount deducted for depreciation. It cost me a lot more to replace the devices even when buying older models.
