Poor communication

2 days to respond to an email. What a joke.
And you make it very difficult to extend policy, you guys emailed with offer to extend the policy and do it online.. but when we went to that page it had message saying we had to contact you guys. Why bother emailing the link in the first place if you won’t allow that method? Never again

Extremely speedy service

Had our claim assessed within 5 days and refund hit our account in under 2 weeks. A couple of items weren't claimable but a clear explanation given. Will definitely use 1cover in future.

Terrible customer service

I spoke to a guy on the phone about whether my change of flights cost could be covered as my Grandmother was diagnosed with brain cancer while i was away and i needed to get back asap to say goodbye. He didn't say "sorry to hear" or anything of the kind, just said probably not because she was "sick" before i left (she was in remission) so they wouldn't cover it. Luckily Jetstar were more than happy to do me a deal - would not recommend 1cover.

Claim denied but done fairly. Great company

My son submitted a cancellation claim. He thought he would be covered, bu unfortunately not. Definitely does not change my opinion of the company though. Claim assessed within a few days and a very polite letter explaining why claim denied with respect to the PDS. Would definitely choose 1 cover again.

Don’t expect to be covered for missed port when taking out the cruise cover package

After cruising regularly we have found that missing ports is a regular occurrence after not being able to claim with other policies we searched for a specialty cruise cover package with 1 cover .After lodging a claim for a missed port we expected to be covered only to have our claim denied because the ship was undergoing maintenance ultimately the cruise company decides wether a port is missed or not looks like its the last time we will be using them and will spread the word on all future cruise forums

Easy process online to get a policy

Online process was easy, i had a pre existing condition which made my premium almost double. I didn't have to make a claim so I can't comment on that.

Piece of mind

So easy and simple to complete online. Giving you that extra piece of mind while travelling, wouldn’t go anywhere without it.

How I can review if I didn't made a claim.

From now on I want be going with one cover.
People who maid a claim went through hell.

My partner's mother who was terminally ill with cancer took a very unexpected turn for the worse forcing us to cancel our holiday two days before we were too leave. Initially we thought we would have difficulty claiming despite the full coverage we had. OneCover sent us forms that simply were not appropriate and we advised as such but then suddenly the refund just showed up! Thanks OneCover. Will use you again.

Excellent Response and Prompt service

Our Claim for travel insurance with 1Cover for cancellation of a walking trip in Kosciusko National Park due to bush fire danger was processed quickly and promptly settled. Excellent service and quick response by OneCOver. Well done.

Easy peace of mind

Travelled to NZ on a cruise inJAN 2020. I have used 1Cover previously so repeat. easy to apply online, good value for money and covered what i needed. Lucky for me , i did not need to claim but the $$ for insurance is worth it. I would recommend a yearly cover if you anticipate more than one trip OS in a 12 month period, and also ensure that it covers you domestically ( AUS)

A fair and quick claims process

My luggage was delayed and I made cash purchases overseas for necessary items to get me through those first 30 hours. It was after my trip that I enquired as to whether I’d be covered and got good news. 1Cover made the process fair and simple, all claims attachments possible to submit from my phone. I will continue to choose and recommend 1Cover travel insurance. Thanks Keanu :)

Go ahead and have surgery and we’ll tell you later if we’ll pay for it

When a doctor says you need surgery urgently and you ring 1cover they say: have the surgery and we’ll decide if we pay later. Hardly helpful in a time of need

Great value and great coverage

They say the best cover is the one you don’t use so I guess this was the best cover!!
I would definitely use 1cover again as the amount of coverage and cost of insurance was perfect. We travelled to Scandinavia during Winter where the probability of a fall was high and felt confident with the medical cover provided by 1cover. Happy to report we didn’t need it!

An affordable and reliable insurance provider

I have had to claim with 1Cover before and they assisted me wonderfully whilst I was in hospital. They are reasonably priced and it is really easy to extend your policy if you end up staying a day or so over.

Completely satisfied with overall experience

We had horrid start to our holiday that cost us $$. When we returned we put in a couple of claims to 1cover. It was easy and simple. We were reimbursed all that we claimed minus policy excess. Couldn't have asked for better service after the stress at the time. Recommend.
