My claim was processed with ease and no complications. The process was clear, informing me exactly what was required for my claim to be considered. I received a response within less than 10 working days. Whilst I was unable to speak with a representative all email communications were always answered. I highly recommend insuring with 1Cover.

We decided to go with 1cover as we had heard good things regarding hospital visits etc. We unfortunately were robbed when we went overseas and 1cover did not want to have a bar of it. Because the country we were in was corrupt, we did not end up getting a police report, even though we paid for one. We ended up signing a stat dec instead and getting a signed letter from the owner of the hotel we got robbed at. They did not cover us, even though we paid EXTRA to cover all my partners camera exquiptment. We provided them receipts of the items that were stolen and we got nothing back. It's not worth going through these guys as they don't have your back. You're better off going through another insurance company that will actually have you covered 10/10 do not recommend anyone insure their trip through these guys....

Insurance cover can’t really be rated until (unluckily) there is a need to make a claim. After 18 months trying to get supporting documentation from a third party, 1 cover processed our claim promptly without fuss. This included an update when further information was obtained after the claim was initially settled. Highly recommended this service. Thank you.

I unfortunately had to have major surgery and have my appendix removed while travelling overseas. 1cover were incredibly easy to work with. They spoke directly to the hospital and changed my flights for me. Everything I requested on my claim was accepted with no push back. Travelling again in May and will use again. Recommended to all my friends

Long story short, everyone was forced to get insurance for Thailand, why? incase they contracted covid and needed to go to hospital. So guess what, I got covid and went to a covid hospital. I put in almost all of my expenses and to my absolute surprise, THE CLAIM WAS REJECTED. Somehow getting admitted isn't covered???????? I mean the PCR tests were a maybe but getting damn ADMITTED to hosptial isn't covered?!?!?!? escalated it to their complaints and the decision was not over turned. Pathetic. Will be going further with this as it's the sole reason people were forced to get insurance. DO NOT CHOOSE ONE COVER!!!!!

We bought overseas travel insurance that cover Covid-19. Unfortunately we all contracted covid during our travel overseas. my youngest 11 months old was very ill and needed hospital stay.
The process was very smooth, efficient and fast either from AU/NZ or local agent . Both side agent were very helpful to assist us during our hospital stay and outpatient.
I would definitely choose 1cover over n over again when we travel next time

They contact you when you send email to advise that you need medical assistance, adk if your okay. The End. Still waiting 1 month for claim to be settled. Sent all documents as requested to lodge claim. Get same reply by email that case is being reviewed
Still gave not been paid for legit hospitalisation overseas.

I used 1Cover for a trip to the USA for our family of 4. My husband became unwell and needed to see an emergency doctor and received medication. I was super impressed with the ease of submitting our claim to 1Cover and it was processed without any issues. I'll definitely use 1Cover again.

Communicating and submitting a claim with 1Cover was quick and easy. The customer service before, during and after making a claim was exceptional. We were really impressed with the care and compassion that one employee in particular showed towards our family. Her name was Hine Wheki, she went above and beyond and made regular contact with my daughter to check in on how my health was. Hine assisted my daughter throughout the process and made contact every few days to check in. Michelle Neilson was also quick to reply to emails and was able to provide advice as to what steps we needed to take next.
It was a relief to have such a positive experience with an insurance company. We would highly recommend 1Cover travel insurance.
