Our Comprehensive and Frequent Traveller policies offer cover for up to $15,000 per adult traveller (sub limits apply).
You're not able to take out multiple policies to cover specific high value items.
If you left your luggage on a plane we would consider your luggage as unattended, which we do not provide cover for.
The item must be owned by you and you must have proof of purchase if you'd like to make a claim for an item.
If you are entitled to be reimbursed by the bus line, airline, shipping line or rail authority you were travelling on when the loss, theft, misplacement or damage occurred, then you may not be covered.
1Cover policies do not provide cover for drones and there is no option to add drones on to your policy.
We have the option for you to specify High Value Items for up to $5,000
There’s always a risk of losing items when you travel and that's why we provide extra cover if you need it.
Our Comprehensive and Domestic policies have a ‘Luggage & Personal Effects’* section.
When assessing a claim for Luggage and Personal Effects we use depreciation to measure the current value of the item in question.
