Existing Medical Condition

I thought $145 extra for my existing condition which causes me no problems was a bit dear. Other than that am always happy with service and cover with One Cover.

Not bad

We did not have to use or make any claims, however I am sure it would have went smoothly had we done so. Thanks.

Satisfactory

The booking receptionist was very helpful because I thought the cost should be more. But I realise that insurance was calculated on date of my booking, wasn’t calculated on my birthday. This time I travelled after my birthday.

Peace of mind

Fortunately we didn't need to make a claim but it is comforting to know we were covered if anything went wrong.

I had a migraine on my first day of the holiday! I asked my husband to contact you and check we were covered as we have never claimed anything on a holiday before. He said you were fantastic and I even had a phone message from Alex ? sorry if that name is incorrect, asking me if I had recovered ok. Thank you so much for that, fantastic service. I have not put in the claim as yet, but I have no doubt you will continue your great service. My husband is using you for his next trip next week, but I cannot thank you enough and will certainly recommend you.

Excellent value

When I travel it is always 1Cover for my insurance. Value for money and peace of mind. I have not had to make a claim but I am sure that the service would be great as usual.

Peace of mind.

We have never taken out travel insurance for travel within Australia before. We enjoyed the peace of mind it gave us as we are an elderly couple. Although in good health we know things can change.
We have also taken out insurance with you for overseas travel next year.

Customer Service Experience

It has always been an easy task dealing with 1 Cover as they are always helpful and provide all necessary information and advice. I have had cover from them on two occasions and I could not fault their customer service.

Easy to apply

What I love about 1cover it's so easy to apply for your insurance and they have your details on file.

Cover while in Queensland and NSW

Value for money and peace of mind while travelling in Australia.
Will use again next year when away traveling in NT, SA. Great and easy to use.

Not sure if the insurance was good value since I did not have to use it so can't comment on it

Paid quickly, however was surprised by an excess being deducted from payment. Haven't had that happen with other insurers in the past

Confident knowing I was covered

I travel to Canada. Winter came 6 weeks early this year and with the snow and ice on the ground it was reassuring knowing I had cover in case I slipped and fell

Over Easy

1 Cover staff know their product and are easy to deal with. Thankfully I haven't had to make a claim to date so cannot comment how efficient or "giving" that process is. I guess this will be the acid test. I note that the review ratings for claims management with 1 Cover are about "average." Cheers :)

Great insurer providing peace of mind

I have been using 1Cover travel insurance for many years now. Unfortunately I have had the need to claim on two occasions over this period and the process/overall claims experience has been easy and without too much fuss. Based on cost and experience, I would definitely recommend 1Cover for travel insurance.

I sent my claims information by express post on 14/11. It arrived in your box on 15/11. i was informed on 21/11 it had only just been received. this is not good enough when you tell me it will then take up to 10 business days to process. I deliberately sent Express Post with a registered section for you to acknowledge receipt of parcel and this was not done. I had to ask Patyn to send me an email on 21/11as I thought it was Australia Posts' fault. It was not their fault. It was at your end and I am not impressed it has taken 7 days when the letter was in your box on the 15/11 from the PO records. Ben was abrupt and uncompromising in his conversation with me this morning when I explained it was your error and the claim need to be brought forward asap. I kept getting the standard response of it will take up to 10 days. Not good enough when I have been inconvenienced by your mail processors. Please do something before i write a letter to people higher up in your organisation as this is not good enough.

Easy to deal with

So easy to deal with. English speaking call centre, great cover for the cost. Fortunately for me I've never had to make a claim. But recommend to friends and family.

Great value. Easy and hassle free to purchase. Fortunately never had to make a claim. Frequent user loyalty program would be good.

Claiming was not too difficult I just had to send more documentation which took time but over all I was satisfied

I have used 1 Cover for my travel insurance and have never had a need for a claim.

The arrangement of the insurance was quick and easy including for my medical condition.
The only thing is that in future I would like to be able to have more than 1 trip covered in any year, but this is not available to me due to my age. One of my friends who is also over 70 can do that with his insurance.
