I have a 1-year travel insurance for South America. I had to go to a dentist in Peru for an emergency. I submitted a claim online and about a week later received the money in my bank account. Super good experience and very easy claim process.

I cannot praise 1Cover enough for their help with a recent claim. I'd had taken ill on my holiday, and I contacted 1Cover via email, the response to my enquiry was within 5 hours of sending my 1st email, and they have aided me in submitting a claim. I have been using 1cover for over 10 years and i book other people with 1cover and we only get 5 %discount If you want us to continue with 1cover we deserve a better discount. I am travelling in March 2018 overseas and I might change insurance companies. With the rep the I spoke to this time I asked a small plastic card with details and was sent a photo copy of my policy. That is a joke as I had already printed it out myself.

I am regular repeat customer of 1Cover as I find them straightforward, the odd claim has been smooth and clear. I look at other options from time to time but keep coming back due to good coverage and options.
I gave a 9 for 'value' as I always feel all Insurance could be cheaper! However, 1Cover has ticked my boxes as a balance of price and coverage.

Pre-existing issues included dilated aorta, although stable for several years and on Warfarin. 1 Cover made a quick decision when my application included my doctor decreeing that I was fit to travel.
No claims were required. I will use cover again.

I was most impressed with how quickly and satisfactorily my claim was resolved. I will certainly use 1Cover again as my travel insurer. Very good value for money.
My only caveat is that I was a bit confused by the claims process which meant I had two claims registered (one online and one by email).

I always choose 1Cover when I travel. On our last trip to the UK, we had some tyre damage on our rental car. 1Cover paid up without any hassles. They are easy to do online, and the claims process was similarly easy.

Easy to obtain online. Comparable with other insurers but a bit cheaper. Didn't need to make a claim but referred a friend last minute in the past & lucky he took out a policy as became ill second day of travelling and ended up in hospital, claimed without an issue!
