I had to cancel my holiday due to an unexpected family issue and received no refunds. Couldn't even get a refund on the policy. Make sure you are familiar with the policy before using this insurer.

Our family has regularly travelled, both in Australia and overseas, and we have used 1Cover every trip. I have had to make two claims in the past 10 years, and both times the claims process was easy. When we were overseas the phone call to 1Cover was helpful and reassuring. All costs were paid and we were very well taken care of during my son's illness. The second claim was for flights that couldn't be taken due to illness. Neither the airline nor the travel agent were helpful, but 1Cover were, and our claim was paid quickly. Many are sceptical of insurance companies, myself included, however my experience with 1Cover has left me feeling not all insurance companies are poor. We are heading to NZ in 2018 and will certainly be using 1Cover again.

1cover compares favourably with other travel insurance policies. It's usually cheaper with optional add-ons. Very easy to get a quote & secure the policy for peace of mind travel insurance with rental car excess covered.

I have used 1Cover a few times now . When I did have a claim due to health problems on a cruise the claim process was very smooth and I received the full amount refunded even with the exchange of US dollars paid onboard . I have now turned 70 so insurance premiums have risen , however 1Cover came in under the other insurers . I shall be using them again for next year. Very happy

I have travelled extensively & used a number of insurance providers.1 Cover has been by far the easiest to deal with. The website is comprehensive & easy to navigate. Each level of cover & applicable limits is clearly explained. The policy is in every day user friendly language not insurance mumbo jumbo!

The choice is simple and was demonstrated on my cruise last week (10/12) when a passenger needed to be airlifted from the ship with serious health issues.
