When your flight is cancelled 6 hrs before departure and you are booked on a flight for the next day and will miss a day of work ( Contractor ) you would think your Insurance would cover you...Right ? Wrong...........

1Cover staff were very professional in their handling of my recent claim involving a broken wrist when overseas. Everyone I dealt with was extremely helpful, polite and supportive of me personally and efficient in every part of the process. I was kept in the loop along the way and finally reimbursed for all my costs. I feel that my claim was very carefully and fairly reviewed. I have travelled with 1Cover travel insurance several times before but never needed to claim. This month I will be travelling with1Cover insurance again with very real confidence in their integrity.

Earlier this year my husband had a fall at work and sustained significant injuries to both legs. We were due to go to Canada/Alaska and unfortunately were not able to do this trip. From the day I rang 1Cover to advise them of the issue to when my claim was finalised they were very helpful and sympathetic. It took 6 weeks to get partial refund from Tour Companies and when I submitted my claim to 1Cover it took 2 days from when they received the papers, to refund money. I am very happy with this company and would recommend them to any of my friends who travel.

After losing rental car keys due to a kayak capsize event, we called 1cover and they said it would be covered under loss of personal items.
Then after making the claim when we returned home, they said rental items aren’t covered under the policy

I got car insurance for my husband who was travelling
to the UK when he arrived at Europcar they said they do not recognize this insurance brand and had to pay again for new insurance on car.
Not happy will not be using you again I have used you for travel insurance in the past but not anymore.

Grand promises of safety and assurance offered when seeking and paying for insurance in the first instance. However, at the moment a claim may have been required and contact made with 1Cover I was suddenly met with great unsurety as to whether I would be looked after. This is the customers greatest moment of insecurity. As it turned out I did not need to make a claim but I will never use 1Cover again and never recommend.

I had to return early from 1trip and cancel another I had to go 10 days later the process was fairly simple as 1 cover only asked for the things that would be expected, the claim went through quickly and efficiently and I was paid in 2 days can not applaud them enough

Really happy with the customer service especially as I had to change my trip once prior to departure and extend twice whilst at my destination and it was all done with minimum effort and fuss over email. No claims experience personally but a family member has claimed and it was seamless. Have used several travel insurance companies and 1Cover has been far superior.

Had to make a claim when my husband was hospital just before we departed for an overseas tour. Once I had all the required documentation to hand submitted a claim for full refund of travel costs, notified that claim had been paid in full within the 10 day time limit. My advice is to make sure you have all the required documentation prior to submitting your claim. Greatly simplifies matters.

Everytime I travel I make sure to get 1 cover. The travel insurance that has peace of mind. I've never had to make a claim fortunately I have been blessed with safe smooth travels but I have had a few friends that have had to claim and experiance fast claims and support abroad. So I always chose 1 cover incase I'm ever unlucky.

Didnt need to claim on this trip however the value of cover compared to Travel agent was much better value.Have claimed once before and was a simple experience.
