Superior Service

I recently attempted back to back cruises which I insured with 1Cover. Unfortunately on my first cruise I become very unwell and had to cancel my second cruise. I phoned 1Cover immediately advising of my dilemma. The first gentleman I spoke with was amazing. He provided top quality advice and support via phone around how to move forward with my insurance claim. He immediately emailed me links and information I needed to support my claim which helped me immensely. The claims process was simple and easy to follow. I had my full claim complete and ready to lodge within a day. I was expecting to wait weeks for my claim to be assessed and was also expecting some kind of drama with my claim, which has happened to me before when using other insurance providers. This was not the case at all with 1Cover! My claim was processed, approved and funds were in my bank account all within one week of lodging the claim! This was amazing! I am so happy with 1Cover. I will be using them for all future travel insurance and have no hesitation in recommending them to others who are travelling and needing insurance. The entire process was flawless and I can honestly say....I’m one happy customer 😀😀😀😀

Prompt claim payment with little compassion

Following a recent trip to NZ where we were impacted by an avalanche, we had to lodge a claim. The process was simple and the claim was paid in a timely manner.I felt the matter was handled with little compassion, empathy or feeling toward us the customer with the email received being straight to the point saying here's what we think you should get. There wasn't a simple explanation around the cost breakdown and to be honest, I'm still a little unclear as to why some components of the claim were paid and others not.I know 1cover's response will be that they are happy to discuss my claim, but that would be missing the point. I just want the matter put behind me as it was a rather disturbing event.If their response email has been a little more customer focused I could have accepted their calculations and just moved on a lot easier.

Hard to prove a claim

I made a claim for lost prescription glasses and had great difficulty convincing "you" of my loss. I had to answer the same questions over and over each time with different phrasing. Some questions impossible to answer.

Policy and claim

Bought cruise specific policy, very good value and had to claim for missed port, very easy claim and quick payment, definitely will use again. No complaints whatsoever.

An excellent company to work with.

We always use 1Cover when we require travel insurance and have introduced the Company to our Son. He is at present skiing in Japan and hopefully will not require their services.

On line or over the phone, hassle free cover.

I have been a loyal customer with 1 cover for many years and many travels. Had to claim once and it was a very simple and easy process. One gripe only and that is as a returning customer I believe we should get a small discount on our next policy. Mainly as a recognition of appreciation.

Gap year travel insurance

My son recently did a gap year travelling to many obscure countries- including Zanzibar, Nicaragua etc. they were all covered no problem and when travel dates changed the company was flexible in changing details.

Luckily we didn’t have to make any claims but certainly just for the peace of mind of coverage 1Cover was excellent.

Terrible company that don’t want to actually insure you

Lost my GoPro over seas (GoPro here 5) took a few weeks for them to process it and then it resulted them ‘accepting it’ but only giving me a final settlement of $39. How am I supposed to replace my GoPro with $39 dollars? What a joke.

Amazingly quick response to claim

I put in a claim and it was processed and approved within 24 hours. I couldn't be happier with the customer service I received

Peace of mind

I have a few health issues, including past history of dvt and pe's so I'm on lifelong warfarin. My last trip 5 years ago was almost a nightmare trying to find someone that would cover me. Finally i found someone but I'd virtually rang every known and unknown Insurer in Australia.

I've just returned from a holiday to Turkey, Germany and a layover in Doha(feb/march 2019) I first heard about 1Cover on the way back from gym on the radio. I got home and called them and with just that one phone call i was able to have all of my ailments covered and at a very reasonable price. It was such a relief. If you can't afford travel insurance you can't afford to travel. Buy your airline ticket and buy your insurance these 2 go hand in hand. I'm so glad there is "1Cover" and I'll be very happy to use them for my next holiday.

Claim approved next day

Had a crack in a rental windscreen. Paid it and received the paper work I needed for a claim. Put in the claim and was approved the next day. The money was in my account in a few days. Will insure with 1Cover again.

Skiing Holiday

My husband & I have travelled very extensively around the world and have used 1Cover for the last 3-4 holidays. Unfortunately, we have had to claim on the last 3 holidays and have been so impressed with the claims process, we have recommended to all our family & friends. Our most recent holiday, skiing in Colorado for my 50th birthday, was fraught with unfortuante circumstances. Firstly my husband was admitted to hospital via ambulance for the night. Secondly, I broke my knee skiing and needed medical care and cut our holiday short. 1Cover organised everything, even business class flights home for my husband & I. You only know how good your travel insurance company is, when you go to claim! We would highly recommend 1Cover.

1Cover so efficient and easy to deal with.

1 Cover is absolutely awesome!Had to cancel my holiday to South Africa as my11 year old granddaughter whom I look after while herparents work broke both her wrists and has both arms in casts so was unable to attend school. My claim took only a day once I had submitted all relevant documentation - unbelievable - so very efficient and easy to claim. Thank you 1 Cover!!
