I have traveled a lot and have always used 1Cover I can not fault them they are cheap, easy to talk to and never had a problem with a claim. They make it very easier to lodge a claim. I always and will always recommend 1Cover.

I have used many insurance providers but none have matched 1cover in terms of ease of application and claims.
I made a claim last year for a ticketed event, it took me 3 minutes me to do. Other companies have you fill in a 10 page tome before assessing a claim.
1cover was fast too, all done in a week. I won't use any other company.

If you decide to stay longer than you have arranged cover then don't expect that extending will be easy...it's not. Yes couldn't contact the office and as such my policy wasn't able to be extended and the cost cost to extend after the expired date was way more than twice the original quote. They were not easy to deal with either. Not a good morning experience.

My only complaint was receiving a text message from your company close to midnight while on holidays, this woke me and initially concerned me in case there was a problem at home. Text m sags during business hours only would be appreciated.

Was very easy to sign up and get insurance coverage for our latest trip.
Even got an email asking if we were going to stay longer whilst overseas and if so we could extend our coverage, first time this has happened, our previous insurances did not do this.
Did not need to make a claim so can not say how this would go.

An insurance company will (nearly) always provide acceptable service when you are taking out a policy. However, the only thing that counts is how it handles any claim and whether it pays all valid claims. We haven't made a claim on this policy so our review is not a review of the applicable service standards of 1Cover because we didn't make a claim and it did nothing other than provide a policy that we paid for.

Thankfully on this holiday we did not have to make any claims however on our previous trip to Fiji, where we had a medical emergency and had to return early, 1cover was excellent in refunding our claims. Very happy to use 1cover for all our holiday insurance.

Have policies with you on all my recent trips and plan to book another tomorrow, service is always friendly and courteous. I have heard good reports from friends who have had to make a claim.
One item you have forgotten is I recommended Sheila Hodgson my trave companion in Hawaii and I believe you send a bonus for new cleints.
