Great company, would definitely use again!

Fantastic company with exceptionally quick customer service. Claims are really easy to make and they follow up a day or so after you lodge a claim. Would recommend to everyone.

Travel insurance

I have always used 1cover for travel insurance. Although I didn't make a claim this trip I have in the past & found them very prompt & helpful.

I liked the emails I got at the end of my trip to ask if I wanted to continue the cover and the email to ask if i needed to claim.

My experience with 1Cover has-been top notch. They were very helpful with claiming for an injury sustained whilst away in Indonesia.

Easy internet travel insurance

I required hire car gap insurance and 1Cover Direct provided all I needed at a reasonable cost and was comprehensive.

Bad Cover

Does not include any medical expenses at all will never use them again as that is what we took it out for. Rubbish!!!!!

value for money

even though I didn't need a claim the peace of mind knowing you are covered is priceless and was very efficient in the way they provided the cover and emailed you for extra cover if you wished to extend your holiday before it expired

FIrst Time User

After using other Travel Insurance companies over the last 10-12 years it was refreshing to receive an email, towards the end of our most recent holiday, from 1 Cover asking if there was any likelihood of extending our stay and whether we needed additional cover. Well done, we like a user friendly company and will certainly use your services again.

Staff Training

When asked to define claim examples, staff were not able to give clear explanations. Go to the web site is not a clear definition.

Peace of mind

Was able to enjoy my holiday without worrying what would happen if i had a problem, like my friend who was injured and had to cut short their trip.

Good Value

Have used 1Cover on numerous occasions and premium paid for the cover provided (as much as we can fully comprehend the conditions) seems excellent.

Have not had to make a claim so cannot comment on this aspect of 1Cover.

Easy to apply travel insurance

I have used 1Cover direct insurance for our travel for many years now. I often recommend it to others when they ask me about this type of insurance.

A must for all travellers

Very simple, fast, easy to navigate application process. Continually kept in touch while away with email reminders. I haven't had to make a claim as yet... I hope I don't need to but I do have peace of mind that I have 1 Cover insurance.👌🏻

Totally unhelpful during Hurricane Harvey

When i called 1cover two days before the storm to mention that i was heading towards it and was i covered for changing my travel *away* from Harvey i was told that there was no cover until *after* the event.

When i called from Houston during Harvey to ask if i was covered for getting a hotel in Dallas if i could get there i was advised that i was supposed to stay in the same hotel or 'in the area' (in other words stay in the disaster area!) and that i wouldn't know if a Dallas hotel was covered until i put in a claim (who wants to bet the claims team reject it?).

So the Emergency Team can't advise on cover. They have also provided zero advice on the best approach to minimising the impact and expense caused by Harvey. So what their role entails is anyones guess (giving useless rote responses seems to be their current modus operandi).

What is painfully obvious is that 1cover are fine if your biggest travel risk is losing your phone or having a flight delayed. If you find yourself in a serious pickle then you are better either relying on your own wits or going with a *real* insurance company.

Cant use any more as i am 75 most insurers i have checked cover me to 90.... dissapointing i wont be anle to use the servoce again

Easy Peasy

Easy application process and reasonably priced. Haven't had need to make a claim, but feel comfortable at this point that claim process would be just as easy.

Just what it says , cover for everything.

Quick and easy to complete, saves you a lot of money you can then spend on your hard earned holiday. I was very impressed and will definitely use 1cover again.
