No emergency service at all & difficult slow claims process.

Customers need an emergency contact when they have a medical emergency as we found out this is non existing with 1cover & you have to fend for yourself leaving you very vulnerable in a foreign country.
The claims process is very difficult and very very slow and there is no compassion at all 1cover are very shallow.

Extremely helpful; caring; prompt service

I was hospitalised in Dubai with pneumonia and 1Cover couldn't do enough to assist in getting my wife & myself home. Even to the point of upgrading our flight to Business Class at no expense to ourselves. We will be travelling overseas later this year & won't hesitate to insure with 1Cover again.

Appalling, NOT HAPPY

I clearly stated the total amount to repair my camera and a lower amount was offered, well under the repair cost (not including the excess). Very dodgy!!!!

Great service. Just had an issue when being reimbursed for a claim. The bank details was input incorrectly which took an extended period to rectify. All was ok at the end.

Simple claim, solved quickly and effortlessly

Domestic Annual Cover. Simple claim - I lost my glasses. Even though I didn't have an itinerary, the claim was processed quickly and efficiently.

Claim made problem free

My first and only experience claiming for travel. I have always insisted having insurance for medical overseas but this claim was for damaged luggage. I was immediately provided a claim number and list of what 1Cover needed to evaluate the claim. Seemed daunting at first & took some time, but I was delighted when approval was swift and funds deposited directly to bank account. Company rep great. Service top rate.

Personal service

When the unexpected happens and something goes wrong on holidays it is always a concern that making a claim will be a minefield of troubles. 1Cover's personable rep took the information over the phone with a followup request via email for the documentation and within a week my claim was settled. Bravo

Son lost his passport

And A1 was Ace! Gave us the right advice as to how to deal with the airline in postponing his flight; reporting the incident to local police; getting emergency documentation.

2 days later my son was on the plane. It took him awhile to file the documentation but payment was swift and no hassle.

Great service!

My partner and I went overseas on a winter holiday. Unfortunately we got sick and we both had to see a doctor. When we were back I submitted a claim for these doctor invoices. Within 10 days I got an email back that the claim has been approved and the money was deposited to my bank account within 5 days. Highly recommend.

Ok

I was dissapointed that my stolen iPad was not Insured for replacement value and only received $150. It cost me a lot more than that to replace. I always insure with onecover, will be looking for one that does in the future.

Promise the world but deliver very little!

Had my knapsack stolen in Hawaii. Left it with the store owner who hired out paddle boards. He kept everyone's baggage and he was right next to the police station. Someone stole my bag. 1 Cover paid for nothing! They were NOT pleasant to deal with. I would have been better lying my axxx off to them.

Very approachable

I could not believe an insurance company actually asked if I needed help or to make a claim after I arrived home. In past experiences I virtually had to turn up on the doorstep to get anywhere with a claim.

Surprised

I was extremely happy and surprised to receive an email after we returned asking if we needed to claim for anything. We did not but it was good to be asked.

Customer service

Although I didn't have a reason to male a claim (thankfully), Cover 1 Travel Insurance was quick and easy to take out online.
Plus I like how a receipt and information pamphlett is emailed.
